My Heart Grows Faint

Original was 8.5x11" Watercolor on 140lb hot press paper.
A pensive, rather forlorn fairy sits by herself in a bare tree in the desert at sunset.
This painting was inspired by my mood these past few months of being rather dry creatively. It is also inspired by Psalm 61:2, which goes along with this mood as of late: "From the ends of the earth I call to You, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I."
